My background is in Historical Performance with a concentration in voice. I am researching the first female composers in Russia to write in the classical style and how musical salon culture in the late 18th c. in Moscow and Petersburg contributed to the formation of Russian nationalism. At the moment, that means I specialize in princess composers.
